IQAC Holds Orientation Session for Internal Auditors

IQAC organizes an update session for its internal auditors on 19 December  2024

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of ULAB organized an orientation session on 19 December 2024, to prepare internal auditors for the upcoming internal audit. The audit will cover the Summer Term 2024 and is scheduled to take place from 20 December to 4 January 2025.

The session was conducted by IQAC Director Professor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo and Additional Director Dr. Wazir A. F. Ahmad. Professor Genilo welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of the upcoming physical audit in maintaining and enhancing institutional quality standards. He highlighted the critical role of internal audits in ensuring continuous improvement.

Dr. Ahmad provided an overview of the audit process, addressing key quality issues and incorporating feedback from the external audit conducted on September 15, 2024. He explained how the comments from external auditors will guide this internal audit cycle to strengthen ULAB’s quality assurance framework.

The orientation outlined the areas to be audited and the responsibilities of the internal auditors. The following auditors and their respective audit areas were announced:
