The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) conducted a comprehensive fire and safety drill at its permanent campus on 24 September 2025, aimed at strengthening awareness and preparedness among students, faculty, and staff. The mock drill was organized by the ULAB Safety and Security Department, in collaboration with relevant fire safety authorities.

During the session, participants were trained on emergency evacuation procedures, the proper use of fire extinguishers, and basic first-aid techniques in the event of a fire. Fire service officials demonstrated practical methods for managing small-scale fires and shared essential safety tips to prevent fire hazards in academic and office settings.

The exercise highlighted the importance of swift response, teamwork, and composure during emergency situations. ULAB authorities emphasized that such drills are integral to the university’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure campus environment, as well as to its broader goals of regulatory compliance, risk management, and community well-being.

Students, faculty, and staff actively participated in the drill, expressing appreciation for the hands-on learning experience and for ULAB’s proactive approach to campus safety and preparedness.
