IIMCS 2025 on Innovation in Quality Education

Professor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), delivered a keynote presentation titled “Innovation in Teaching Media, Communication, and Behavioural Change: Rethinking Quality Education in the Digital Age” at the 1st Virtual ICOMGAM Innovative Media & Communications Summit (IIMCS 2025), held on 24 to 25 October 2025.

In his address, Professor Genilo underscored the need for pedagogical, technological, and curricular innovation to advance meaningful learning and critical thinking in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. He stressed that true education must nurture reflection, creativity, and freedom, aligning with the transformative teaching philosophies of Paulo Freire.

The keynote concluded with a call for greater collaboration among educators, researchers, and institutions to design learning ecosystems that foster deep understanding, inclusivity, and innovation in media and communication education. Professor Genilo’s presentation reflected ULAB’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, critical pedagogy, and future-ready education in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
