Twenty-Fifth Meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee Held

25th QAC meeting held on 26 November 2025.

 

The Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) successfully held its 25th meeting on 26 November 2025, at the Board Room of ULAB’s permanent campus in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.

The meeting commenced with a welcome address by the Acting Vice Chancellor and Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Professor Jude William R. Genilo, PhD, who also chaired the session.

Key agenda items included confirmation of the minutes of the 24th QAC meeting and review of business arising from the previous meeting. The committee also discussed the ISO Internal Audit Schedule for the Summer Term 2025, the ISO Surveillance Audit results and observations for 2025, student awareness activities related to the Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF), fire drill and campus safety updates, and an analysis of ULAB’s performance in the QS Asia Rankings. In addition, the findings of the Postgraduate Exit Survey (Fall 2024) and the Graduate Exit Survey (Spring 2025) were presented and deliberated.

Serajul Islam Prodhan, PhD, UGC Representative; senior academicians Professor Shahnaj Husne Jahan, PhD, and Ms. Arifa Ghani Rahman; Registrar Lt. Col. Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd.); Director, CETL, Mohammad Shazzad Hossain, PhD; Additional Director, IQAC, Wazir A. F. Ahmad, PhD; Interim Director, IRC, Md. Kamal Uddin, PhD; Additional Director (Accounts), Md. Roknuzzaman; Assistant Manager, IQAC, Md. Bachu Mia; and Senior Manager (Administration), Md. Nazmul Hossain Bhuiyan.

Dr. Barbaq Quarmal, Consultant, presented the findings of the Postgraduate Exit Survey (Fall 2024) and the Graduate Exit Survey (Spring 2025), followed by discussion and feedback from committee members.
