ULAB achieves ISO 9001-2015 QMS Certification for 2025

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification for 2025, marking a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing commitment to institutional excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification is an internationally recognized standard that acknowledges organizations for their ability to consistently deliver services that meet stakeholder and regulatory requirements while promoting efficiency, transparency, and continual improvement. ULAB’s achievement reflects its dedication to upholding global best practices across its administrative operations, academic services, and overall management processes.

The certification followed a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation of ULAB’s quality management framework, including documentation systems, operational procedures, and internal governance mechanisms. External auditors conducted detailed assessments to ensure full compliance with international standards. This recognition underscores the collective efforts of ULAB’s academic departments, administrative offices, and the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in cultivating a strong culture of quality and accountability.

The certificate was formally received by Professor Jude William R. Genilo (Acting Vice Chancellor and Director, IQAC) from Mr. Shankar Chandra Das, Representative of Social Vision Corporation Ltd. The ceremony was attended by Professor Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee, PhD (Treasurer); Dr. Wazir AF Ahmad (Additional Director, IQAC and Director, BBA Program); Registrar Lt. Col. Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd.); and Md. Bachu Mia (Assistant Manager, IQAC).

This international accreditation further strengthens ULAB’s institutional reputation and competitiveness among private universities in Bangladesh. The ISO 9001:2015 certification will support the university in streamlining processes, enhancing decision-making, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality education and administrative services.
