Virtual Training on ISO 9001:2015 for Internal Auditors Held
Virtual Training Session on 1 November 2025.
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) successfully organized a virtual training session titled “ISO 9001:2015 for Internal Auditors” on 1 November 2025. The program was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of quality management systems and international best practices under the ISO 9001:2015 framework.
The session commenced with a welcome and introduction, setting a collaborative and engaging tone for the day. This was followed by a comprehensive overview of the history, background, revisions, and structure of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, providing participants with a solid conceptual foundation.
The technical sessions systematically covered Clauses 1 to 10 of the standard. Clauses 1 to 6 were discussed in the pre-lunch session, while Clauses 7 and 8, followed by Clauses 9 and 10, were addressed in the afternoon. Each segment emphasized the alignment of organizational processes with ISO requirements to ensure effective quality management. Scheduled breaks and a lunch interval allowed participants time to reflect and engage informally with the content.
Toward the conclusion, a hands-on workshop on ISO 9001:2015 requirements enabled participants to apply their learning in practical scenarios. The training concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, fostering knowledge sharing and clarification of key issues. A total of fifteen (15) participants attended the training.
Overall, the program provided valuable guidance for institutions seeking to implement or sustain ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification and reaffirmed ULAB’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
