ULAB Holds 26th Meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC)
26th QAC Meeting of ULAB held on 24 February 2026.
The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) convened the 26th Meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) on 24 February 2026 in the Board Room.
The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor Professor Shamsad Mortuza, PhD. Members present included Pro Vice Chancellor and IQAC Director Professor Jude William R. Genilo, PhD; Professor Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, PhD, Dean, ULAB School of Business; Professor Suman Rahman, PhD, Dean, School of Social Science; Professor Md. Serajul Islam Prodhan, PhD, UGC Representative; senior academicians Professor Shahnaj Husne Jahan, PhD, and Ms. Arifa Ghani Rahman; Registrar Lt. Col. Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd.); Director, CETL, Dr. Mohammad Shazzad Hossain; Additional Director, IQAC, Dr. Wazir A. F. Ahmad; Interim Director, IRC, Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin; Additional Director (Accounts), Md. Roknuzzaman; Assistant Manager, IQAC, Md. Bachu Mia; Director (Administration), H. M. Badruddin; and Deputy Director (SAO), Md. Mahmud Hossain.
The agenda included:
- ISO Internal Audit Summary Report for Summer 2025
- Work Plan 2026 from IQAC, CETL, and IRC
- IQAS Survey 2025 findings and summary
- Postgraduate Exit Survey (Spring 2025) results
Dr. Barbaq Quarmal, Consultant, presented the findings of the Postgraduate Exit Survey (Spring 2025), while Mr. Ekhtear Ahmed Zeesan, Consultant, shared the key results and analysis of the IQAS Survey 2025. The presentations highlighted areas of strength as well as opportunities for further enhancement in academic delivery, student services, and institutional support mechanisms.
The Committee emphasized the importance of strengthening follow-up mechanisms and reinforcing data-driven decision-making across units. Members offered additional recommendations to ensure systematic implementation of action points and reaffirmed their collective commitment to continuous quality improvement and institutional excellence at ULAB.
