Fire Drill at ULAB Campus on 23 April 2026

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) conducted a comprehensive fire drill on 23 April 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM at its Permanent Campus in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. The exercise was organized as part of the university’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and responsive campus environment for students, faculty, and staff.

The drill simulated an emergency scenario to familiarize participants with standard evacuation procedures. Upon activation of the alarm system, occupants were guided to exit the premises using designated evacuation routes and to assemble at pre-identified safety points. The process was carried out in an orderly and timely manner, reflecting a high level of awareness and cooperation among participants.

Members of the university’s safety and administrative teams closely monitored the exercise to ensure adherence to established protocols. In addition to the evacuation drill, participants received practical guidance on basic fire safety measures, including the proper use of fire extinguishers and essential emergency response techniques.

The initiative underscored the importance of preparedness, coordination, and timely response in managing potential emergencies. University authorities expressed satisfaction with the overall conduct of the drill and emphasized the importance of regular safety exercises to reinforce awareness, build confidence, and minimize risks.

Through such initiatives, ULAB continues to prioritize the well-being of its community while fostering a culture of safety and resilience across the campus.
