Six (6) Members Review Committed to QSP and QSM

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has initiated a major step toward strengthening its institutional quality assurance framework by forming a dedicated committee to review and update its Quality System Manual and Quality System Procedures in alignment with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Originally issued in April 2019, the existing Quality System Manual is now undergoing a comprehensive revision to ensure that all documented procedures accurately reflect current institutional practices and are aligned with the Key Result Areas (KRAs) of administrative units. This initiative underscores ULAB’s continued commitment to upholding international standards in quality assurance and administrative excellence. The newly constituted committee has been entrusted with a central role in guiding this process. Beyond revising the manual, the committee will support the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the university. Committee members will serve as mentors to designated administrative units, assisting in identifying required SOPs, facilitating the drafting process, and reviewing submissions prior to final evaluation.

The committee held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at the ULAB Boardroom. The session functioned as an orientation, during which members discussed the objectives of the review, clarified roles and responsibilities, and established a structured timeline for the completion of the revised Quality System Manual and SOPs. This collaborative effort is expected to enhance operational efficiency, promote consistency in administrative practices, and further institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement at ULAB. The active engagement of the committee is anticipated to be instrumental in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of this important quality assurance initiative.
