ULAB Advances in THE Impact Ratings 2026

ULAB Ranks 801-1000 in THE Sustainability Ranking 2026.
The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has advanced to the 801–1000 band in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ratings 2026, improving from the 1001–1500 band in 2025. This year’s rankings assessed the contributions of 1,603 universities from 116 countries and territories toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
ULAB’s progress reflects its growing commitment to sustainability through education, research, institutional practices, and community engagement. The university achieved notable performances among private universities in Bangladesh across several SDGs:
- #1 in SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
- #6 in SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
- #6 in SDG 4: Quality Education
- #7 in SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
- #7 in SDG 5: Gender Equality
- #11 in SDG 1: No Poverty
These achievements underscore ULAB’s efforts to integrate sustainability into its academic programs, research initiatives, campus operations, and outreach activities. Through sustainability-focused education, socially relevant research, green campus initiatives, and meaningful community partnerships, ULAB continues to contribute to national development and the global pursuit of a more sustainable and equitable future.
