Training Workshop on “QA Core Team Development”

Wazir AF Ahmad, Additional Director of IQAC participated in a  four day training workshop (along with other IQAC Directors and  Additional Directors) on “ Developing Core Team for Guiding IQAC, QA activities, and Curriculum Design” on March 13-16, 2017 at UGC Auditorium, UGC Bhaban, Agargaon,Dhaka. The workshop was organized by Quality Assurance Unit, HEQEP of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin  Ahmed, Head, Quality Assurance Unit welcomed the participants to the program.  Professor Abdul Mannan, Chairman, UGC was present as chief guest while Dr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Operations Officer, World Bank, Dhaka, Professor Dr. M. Shah Nowaz Ali, Member, UGC, Dhaka and Dr. Gouranga Chandra Mohanta, ndc, Project Director of HEQEP project were present as special guests.  International QA Experts Dr. Harshita  Aini Haroon, Dr. Rozilini Mary Fernandez-Chung and Dr. M.H. Rahman acted as resource persons. The workshop covered the QA direction for Bangladesh; overview of global QA; outcome based education; challenges in implementing outcome-based education; self assessment process and standards; criteria, effectiveness and evaluation; framework with curriculum development and so on.
