The Department of English and Humanities conducted their second workshop on Curriculum Design on 24 August 2017. The workshop was attended by all faculty members, which included the SAC members and Curriculum Committee members. Dr. Sohana Manzoor, Assistant Professor of DEH and member of the Curriculum Committee, conducted the workshop. She was assisted by the Chair of the SAC, Arifa Ghani Rahman, Associate Professor of DEH. The workshop began with a review of the previous one. Dr. Manzoor proceeded to explain how the course-program mapping should be completed, using her own map as a sample. Faculty members then completed their course-program mapping for one course. They will do the same for all the other courses they teach at the undergraduate level. Participants completed the Program Learning Outcomes Mapping, Professional Skills Mapping, Generic Skills Mapping, and Assessment Rubrics Mapping. All mapping and alignment for all taught courses at the undergraduate level will be completed and submitted to the DEH SAC by 21 September 2017 for filing.
