DEH Holds Lesson Plan Workshop

The Department of English and Humanities conducted their Lesson Plan Workshop on 19 September 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm in Room A301. The workshop was attended by all faculty members of DEH, which included the SAC members and Curriculum Design Committee members. Dr. Mahmud Hasan Khan, Associate Professor of DEH and member of the SAC, conducted the workshop. He was assisted by the Chair of the SAC, Ms. Arifa Ghani Rahman, Associate Professor of DEH. Dr. Khan presented a sample lesson plan template and explained the different elements to be included. Participants then worked on their lesson plans in the computer lab. Ideas for different activities and resources that can be used in literature courses, particularly, were shared as such theoretical courses need creative activities. The Head of Department, Dr. Shamsad Mortuza, also gave his valuable input on the overall lesson plan design and shared IQAC’s recommendations.
