Alumni Committee Formed

IQAC introduces to you the ULAB Alumni Committee members. The Alumni Committee is responsible for finalizing the proposed Alumni Constitution and suggest appropriate mechanism, policies, procedures for setting up an Alumni Office.

1. Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees
2. Shamsad Mortuza, Head, Department of English and Humanities
3. Jude William Genilo, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell
4. Muzahidul Islam, Acting Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Some recommendations came out during the meeting with Alumni Committee held on 15 November 2017. These are:

• Alumni Relations Office needs immediate upgrading: A faculty who has a passion for alumni activities and is well accepted by students may be appointed as advisor/director; TAs may be used to updating and extending databases.
• An Alumni Relations Policy should be drafted.
• Automatic membership as Alumni on graduation. No membership fee will be charged.
