CSE Holds Stakeholder Workshop

The Self-Assessment Committee of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) organized a workshop with Stakeholders (Alumni and Employers) on 15 February 2018. Dr. A K M Muzahidul Islam, HoD of CSE delivered the welcome speech. The program was conducted by Dr. Md. Shahriar Rahman, Associate Professor CSE and Head, SAC. The workshop was attended by the full time faculty members, alumni, employers and admin staff. Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees and Dean of ULAB School of Business, was the Chief Guest. The program was also attended by Prof. Milan Kuman Bhattachar

jee, PhD, Treasurer, ULAB and Professor Akhter Ahmed, Registrar, ULAB.

The workshop consisted of a panel discussion of senior faculty members where alumni were encouraged to present their feedback and experience. Also, there was a session with employers where they provided some feedback and valuable suggestions. During the event, stakeholders were encouraged to fill up the survey questionnaire as a part of the workshop. This session was conducted by Dr. Abul Kalam Al Azad, Associate Professor, member of SAC, CSE. Lastly, an ad-hoc committee of CSE Alumni was formed and a constitution was established unanimously. The workshop ended by the vote of thanks by Dr. A K M Muzahidul Islam, HoD of CSE.
