Stakeholder Consultation Meetings on Improvement Plans Held

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized  stakeholder consultation meetings on 9 August and 30 August, 2018 respectively. The Self Assessment Committees (SAC) of the five program offering entities presented their draft Post Self Assessment Improvement Plan. The Department of Media Studies and Journalism presented their improvement plan on 9 August 2018, while the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, English and Humanities and ULAB School of Business  presented their improvement plans on 30 August 2018. The purpose of these presentations was to get the feedback from stakeholders on the improvement plan. The participants were as follows: Vice Chancellor Prof. Jahirul Haque, Special Advisor to BoT Prof. Imran Rahman, Deans, IQAC Director and Additional Director, full time faculty members, students, alumni, key administrators and department admin officers. The improvement plan covered: strategic objectives and strategic targets of nine criteria: governance, curriculum, student admission progress and achievement, physical facilities, teaching, learning and assessment, student support services, staff and facilities, research and extension and process management and continuous improvement.
