Stakeholders Consultation on Quality Assurance and Accreditation

To sustain the development activities initiated under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), the Government of Bangladesh requested the World Bank to provide support for a successor project as the HEQEP will close on 31 December 2018. World Bank agreed to undertake and finance HEQEP’s successor project named as Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation project (HEAT). Against this background, the UGC in association with the World Bank organized a stakeholder consultation meeting on Quality Assurance and Accreditation on 18 and 19 November 2018 which took place at UGC Auditorium. The program was presided over by Professor Yousuf Ali Mollah, Member of UGC while Professor Abdul Mannan, Chairman of UGC was the Chief Guest. Directors of IQAC of public and private university attended this session. Several administrators of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh participated in the consultation meeting.
