Bangladeshi Universities in Mainstream Ranking Systems

Two mainstream ranking systems - Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and Times Higher Education (THE) - have recently announced its results for 2020.  In the QS Asian University Rankings for 2020, the Bangladeshi universities that made the cut include: University of Dhaka (Rank 135); Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology - BUET (Rank 207); North South University (Rank 291 to 300); BRAC University (Rank 301 to 350); United International - UIU (Rank 351 to 400); Independent University Bangladesh - IUB (Rank 401 to 450); and Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Rank 451 to 500).  In the THE World University Rankings, only University of Dhaka made the list at Rank 1001 plus.
