OBE Course Outline and Mapping Workshop Series Held

The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) is requiring all universities to submit course outlines using an OBE format. It has also directed that all course learning outcomes must be appropriately mapped against program learning outcomes, generic skills, professional skills and assessment strategies. The said outlines and mapping will be submitted together with the OBE curriculum (undergraduate and graduate) of program offering entities.

To comply with this requirement, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Course Outline and Mapping on 1 July 2021. The trainers were nominated by the various academic program so that they can train the faculty members of various programs. The trainers are: Dr. Sarkar Barbaq Quarmal, Nandita Tabassum Khan, Lili Ping, Faisal Shahriar, Mohammad Zaki Rezwan and Tasmia Mayen. Afterwards, IQAC organized a series of workshops dated on 8 July (for Media Studies and Journalism Department), 15 July morning (for General Education Department), 15 July afternoon (for ULAB School of Business), 29 July (for School of Engineering) and 5 August (for Department of English and Humanities).
