BAC Calls for Research Proposal Submissions

The Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) recently approved its Research Policy 2022. In the document, researchers and academia from different education and research institutes may propose a research project based on the BAC’s criteria. The proposal should include the following: (1) introduction; goals and objectives of research; (2) research management committee; (3) call for research proposal and process of approval; (4) management of research council; (5) formation of research team; (6) financial management of research project; (7) ethical exercises of research;(8) implementation, changes and others conditions of research policy. The proposal format may be taken from their website: www.bac.gov.bd. The deadline for submission is on 22 March 2022 and should be submitted at the BAC Office. The BAC office may be found in this new location: Bangladesh Accreditation Council BSL Office Complex, Bhaban-2, 2nd floor, 119 Kazi Nazrul Islam Road, Shahbag, Dhaka-1000 The research proposal would be evaluated based on: (1) logical consistency of the different parts of the proposal; (2) clarity and depth; (3) relation between BAC functions and project goals; and (4) researcher’s skills and experience.
