Higher Education Conference Held

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of North South University (NSU) of Bangladesh arranged a conference with the theme “The Future of the University: Challenges and Opportunities” on 30 November to 1 December 2022.  The two-day conference covered the following topics: Accreditation, Ranking and Quality Assurance, Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Curriculum, Research and Development, Society and Higher Education, Student Satisfaction. Professor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo participated in the discussion regarding “OBE Curriculum: Challenges in Implementation” during the second day of the conference.  The challenges included the training of faculty on OBE; the need for better tracking regarding student performance relating to OBE outcomes; and formulating measurements and indicators that faculty can easily understand and implement.
