Risk and Safety Workshop Held

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) conducted a workshop titled “Risk Assessment & Safety Workshop” on 16 February 2023 at PD 105, ULAB permanent campus. Vice Chancellor Professor Imran Rahman and IQAC Director Prof. Jude William Genilo delivered the opening remarks. Mr. MR Khan, CEO, of Integrated Risk Consulting Group was the resource person. He spoke about Basics of Risk, Basics of Fire, Basics of Safety & Security, How Fire Spreads, Identification of Hazards, Fire Prevention & Protection & Case Study Videos. During the workshop, Khan demonstrated how fire spreads in a matter of minutes; showing video productions to this effect. The university’s internal auditors and administrative unit directors participated in the workshop.
