The Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) program of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has achieved accreditation by Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) under Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) on 12 February 2023 for the next 3 years (12 February 2023 to 11 February 2026). This is a significant achievement that reflects the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. This recognition is displayed on the BAETE website.

IEB accreditation is a mark of quality that recognizes our commitment to excellence in teaching and research. It also acknowledges that our program meets rigorous standards set by IEB.

This accreditation is a testament to the efforts of our faculty, staff, students, alumni and IAP (industry advisory panel), who have worked tirelessly to ensure that our EEE program is of the highest quality. We are proud to have received this recognition and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional education to our students.

An evaluation team from the BAETE of the IEB completed a three-day visit from 13 to 15 December 2022, for accreditation of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in EEE at ULAB. The three-member team, consisting of two members from academia and one member from the industry, started their visit with a meeting with the authority of ULAB, in presence of the Vice Chancellor. During the visit, the Expert Team (ET) closely examined relevant documents from the EEE program and various offices at ULAB. They visited all the physical facilities of the EEE program and ULAB, i.e., lab facilities, library, classroom, cafeteria, playground, medical center, prayer room, etc. They had extensive talks with EEE faculty members and admin, students, alumni, IAP and other stakeholders. They also held meetings with officials from the Registrar's office, Controller of Exam Office, Admissions Office, Finance Office, and other offices. On the final day, the ET held a debriefing meeting with head of department (HoD) and senior faculty members of the EEE program. The visit ended with an exit meeting with the authorities of ULAB.
