Dr. Shazzad Hossain appointed to CETL Director

Vice Chancellor Professor Imran Rahman of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh appointed Dr. Shazzad Mohammad Hossain, Assistant Professor of Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ), as the Director of Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) for two years effective from May 16, 2023. Dr. Mohammad Shazzad Hossain is an expert in e-learning with a wealth of experience and a passion for creating engaging and compelling learning experiences. As an Assistant Professor he has been at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative teaching-learning methodologies in the Department MSJ since 2012.

Dr. Shazzad's impressive credentials include a Ph.D. in eLearning Methodology from Assumption University, Thailand, where he gained invaluable insights into the latest trends and best practices. Drawing on his expertise in film studies, community media, new media, and development communication, he brings a fresh and dynamic approach to his e-learning courses.

With his diverse background and extensive experience in film, photography, and television production, Dr. Shazzad has a unique ability to create engaging and immersive experiences that captivate and motivate learners. He has collaborated with various development agencies and government agencies on e-learning course module development, video productions, and research projects, making him a highly sought-after e-learning expert in academia and industry.
