Call for Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship 2024-2025

The U.S Embassy is accepting applications for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program for the 2024-25 academic year. The Fulbright (FLTA) program provides scholarships for highly motivated early-career Bangladeshi educational professionals working in English language and other related fields (e.g., American studies, journalism and media, American or English Literature and Bengali language instructors) to teach Bangla at institutions of higher education in the United States. This nine-month program provides Bangladeshi young academics with an excellent professional development opportunity to refine their skills, increase their English language proficiency, and enhance their knowledge of the United States. 
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government’s flagship international education exchange program aimed at fostering mutual understanding between the United States and other countries around the world. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and is administrated by the Institute of International Education. The deadline for application is August 31, 2023.
