ISO Orientation Held

IQAC Director Professor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo briefed the participants on ISO External Audit on September 5, 2024

On 5 September 2024, the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) held a briefing session in preparation for the ISO Surveillance Audit scheduled for 15 September 2024. The briefing brought together Academic Heads of Departments, Coordinators, Directors of centers and administrative units, and administrative officials from both academic and non-academic units.

Pro Vice Chancellor and IQAC Director Prof. Dr. Jude William R. Genilo welcomed the attendees and emphasized the value of the ISO QMS 9001:2015 certification for educational institutions. He also highlighted non-compliance issues identified in various academic and administrative units during internal audits, stressing the importance of addressing these areas to uphold quality standards.

IQAC Additional Director, Dr. Wazir AF Ahmad, provided an overview of quality assurance issues, recommendations from previous external audits, and areas for improvement. He also shared practical advice on responding to audit questions and led a Q&A session. The session concluded with thanks extended to all participants for their engagement and contributions.
