Dr. Kamal Uddin, Newly appointed interim director, institutional ranking cell, ULAB
Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin was appointed as Interim Director of the Institutional Ranking Cell (IRC) effective Fall Term 2024. He is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business, ULAB. He completed his PhD in Economic System Analysis and Management from the School of Economics and Management at Dalian University of Technology, China, a prestigious school accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. He has a strong background in finance, energy economics, and environmental management. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Uddin has published original research in high-impact, SSCI/SCIE ranked journals, including Energy Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Energy. His research primarily focuses on the intersection of energy policy, environmental sustainability, and applied econometrics. Dr. Uddin is an active reviewer for multiple ISI-ranked journals, including those published by Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis. He is committed to advancing knowledge through both his teaching and scholarly contributions.
