Documentation Techniques Workshop Conducted

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell organized an online workshop on Documentation Techniques to improve the capacity of admin officers from different academic departments on 8 April 2021. During the opening remarks, IQAC Director Professor Jude William Genilo mentioned that admin officers play a vital role in improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of a department. One key task they have is to file, store and update the documents, which may be regarded as key information sources in decision-making. The next session was facilitated by IQAC Assistant Manager Ms. Joyanti Bardhan. She spoke about techniques in preparing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System basic documents (Quality Objective, Risk Assessment and Accomplishment Report). Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) Department Senior Officer Ms. Fargin Farhana, meanwhile, shared her experiences to prepare the various departmental documents, which are needed in putting together the department quality assurance report.
