The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) held a half-day workshop on “Outcome-Based Education (OBE) for the Bangla Studies Program” on Wednesday, 18 September 2024, in PD 102. Professor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo, Pro-Vice Chancellor and IQAC Director, opened the program with a welcome address, highlighting the significance of OBE for both ULAB and the Bachelor of Bangla Studies (BBS) program.

The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Wazir AF Ahmad, IQAC’s Additional Director, who served as the resource person. Dr. Ahmad covered key aspects of OBE, including Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program and Course Outcomes, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and Bloom’s Taxonomy. The interactive session engaged six faculty members from the Department of BBS, with discussions guided by the updated OBE template from the University Grants Commission and IQAC's internal guidelines at ULAB.
